Comor, Inc. is a custom plastic injection molder located in Cochranton, PA. Comor was established in 1985 and remains a privately owned business today. Comor is capable of producing a variety of different size and shaped products and considers itself experts at molding primarily medium sized components; this is facilitated by large press sizes including a 770 ton press. Because of the size of the parts that we typically mold, average cavitation is between one and four. The types of products historically produced have been molded components for ladders and patio furniture as well as specialty advertising items.
Recently, Comor, Inc. developed a customized ink-jet printing process which enables plastic components to be printed; the ink is indelible and cures instantly. The technology is capable of single color printing up to full-color (four-color) printing. The technology allows for variable data, and printing on flat, rounded and cylindrical surfaces without distortion. The process is fully automated and is significantly more cost-effective than alternative ways of printing on plastic. Also, we have the ability to print on almost any type of surface or substrate.
